Casio Projectors has announced that is has extended the warranty on the light source across its range of projectors to five years or 10,000 hours. The new warranty will see Casio Projectors guarantee its laser and LED hybrid light source, for all current and new models, for up to five years or 10,000 hours (subject to reasonable use), increasing its warranty from three years / 6,000 hours.
Casio Projectors’ hybrid light source means the devices use no mercury and need far less maintenance than lamp-based projectors. This reduces their environmental impact, lowers follow-up cost, and provides no degradation in brightness over the life of the projector.
Nieve Cavanagh, senior marketing manager for Casio Projectors said: “Extending the warranty underlines our commitment to next-generation products that set new standards for performance while being simple to maintain and eco-friendly.”
NB – Five years or 10,000 hours, depending on which comes first. Applies to projectors used for 12 hours per day or less.
