DCC Technology today announced its rebrand to Nexora, unveiling a new identity and direction which reflects the group’s evolution into a unified and purpose led community of specialist businesses. More than a name change, Nexora marks a significant step forward, defining the future of the group with clarity, purpose and momentum. The rebrand brings together twenty-seven specialist businesses and two thousand five hundred people under one shared vision to deliver progressive technology that enriches lives. “This is an exciting milestone for our business,” said Clive Fitzharris Chief Executive Officer of Nexora. “Nexora reflects who we are today and where we are going, a community of specialist businesses built on deep expertise and strong partnerships. It is an identity and direction which captures our energy, our ambition and our belief in the power of technology to enrich lives. I am proud of the inclusive process that brought us here and grateful to our teams who helped shape this next chapter.”

The journey to Nexora began in March 2025 when colleagues across the group were invited to propose names for the new identity. More than four hundred ideas were submitted. Nexora was chosen for its simplicity, its positive energy and its alignment with our purpose to deliver progressive technology that enriches lives. Formed from ‘Nex’ meaning next and ‘Ora’ meaning energy, Nexora symbolises progress, momentum, confidence and forward motion. “Our goal was to create a name that unites our businesses and inspires progress,” said Vishal Chhatralia Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at Nexora. “Nexora provides clarity and motivation. It reflects what is next for our group and the energy of the people who drive our success. This identity gives us a strong platform to tell our story and strengthen our partnerships.”

The name was submitted jointly by five colleagues:

    • Marvin. Supervisor, Texas Distribution Centre
    • Jeff. Sales leader, Almo Appliances
    • Jordy. Account Manager, Benelux
    • Josh. Sales leader, Almo Pro AV
    • Sydney. HR, North America

Nexora is the group identity that unites twenty-seven specialist businesses and two thousand five hundred people. This shared identity strengthens connection across markets enhances collaboration supports innovation and reinforces a strong sense of belonging across the community. Nexora includes Comm-Tec across DACH, Italy and Iberia, Azenn and Connect in France, Hammer in Europe, Captech in the Nordic region and Almo and JAM in North America. Together these specialist businesses bring decades of proven leadership in their markets. Almo celebrates eighty years of trading this year. Comm-Tec celebrates forty years. Hammer will reach thirty-five years in the coming year. JAM recently celebrated fifty years. This heritage remains untouched and continues to be central to how we serve our partners.

With the completed sale of Exertis’ UK IT businesses and the exits from lower-margin IT activities in France, Spain, and the Netherlands, the Exertis name is being retired by the businesses in the Nexora family. This strategic move enables Nexora to focus entirely on its core strength; building strong specialist businesses in markets where it can deliver meaningful added value. With a simplified structure Nexora is increasing investment in talent, technology and demand creation across its specialist markets to support partners and open new opportunity.
