Marc Jourlait has been named Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Electrosonic. Having initially joined the Board in 2021, Jourlait brings with him a career of over three decades, leading technology companies focused on innovation.

Jourlait, will guide the company’s global vision of delivering innovative experiential technology solutions, while providing strategic oversight, governance and operational guidance.

This appointment comes as Lori Cross steps down from the Chairperson role to dedicate more time to her family and other professional endeavors.
“I’ll now have the capacity needed to refocus on mentoring emerging entrepreneurs as they fine-tune their businesses and scale innovations,” Cross remarked, highlighting her ongoing commitment to fostering growth and innovation beyond Electrosonic’s walls.

Expressing her enduring connection to Electrosonic and its mission, Cross added, “I want to personally thank all of the Electrosonic employees, fellow Board directors and Owners for their trust and support during my tenure.”

In 2015, Jourlait was appointed Navico’s Deputy CEO and Board Member before taking up the CEO and Board Member role at Kodak Alaris. Currently, Jourlait holds several board and operating positions in Private Equity businesses, including Riverside Private Equity, Oaktree Capital and Cathay Capital.

“It is an incredible honor to serve as Chairperson at Electrosonic,” said Jourlait. “The company’s rich 60-year legacy of technical-excellence and innovation is truly inspiring. Together with Electrosonic’s talented team, we will continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible, creating lasting and impactful experiences for our global audience.”

In speaking about Electrosonic’s future Jourlait commented, “Electrosonic is a unique company; I have profound pride in the ground-breaking projects that we deliver and in our people that make the impossible, possible. Our team of designers, engineers, technicians and project managers not only create technical marvels every day but create experiences that leave a resounding impact on people and the communities in which we live, work and play.”
