Rod McCarthy, managing director of Exertis Services.

Exertis has announced a consolidation of its services businesses to provide an end-to-end integrated portfolio covering the whole technology lifecycle. The range of services encompass six key areas:

Consult: Professional Services to identify business improvements

    Deploy: Configuration and installation solutions

    Maintain: 24 x 7 in-life support solutions

Manage: 24 x 7 fully managed and proactive monitoring and support solutions

Assist & Educate: On-demand technical assistance and training solutions

    Recover: Refurbishment and recycling solutions

“Our aim is to fully support and equip resellers to confidently deliver a range of technical support services without the need for specialist expertise or expensive infrastructure investment.  Our services portfolio can be provided on a “white label” basis as complete or modular solutions, depending on partner needs.  Our mission is to help the channel to create new recurring annuity revenues and GP as well as enabling continuous engagement with end-users,” said Rod McCarthy, managing director of Exertis Services.

Exertis is also providing services, tailored to enterprise and mobility focussed resellers across a wide range of technologies and categories that include networking, unified communications, security, software, AV, print, mobile management, recycling and refurbishment. With specialist, support Centres of Excellence (CoE), located in the UK and Ireland, many services are available on a 24/7/365 basis, with vendor endorsed and qualified engineers. All of the systems and infrastructure that power these centres are built with a fully redundant capacity, eliminating any single point of failure whilst improving performance, and strengthening internal security. These centres run on hardware and software technologies which Exertis maintain and manage for its partners. The service is fully ISO-27001 accredited with full disaster recovery systems and processes.

In November 2019, DCC Technology, announced the acquisition of Bconnected Limited, a specialist provider of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and device endpoint management solutions, increasing its expertise in complementary service areas, as well as expanding its own DaaS services.

“By combining these services together with our existing professional services capability in the UK and Ireland, we have created one international business unit making it easier for our partners to take advantage of a one-stop, integrated services provider that supports the entire technology lifecycle. By making services easier to quote, easier to scale and easier to sell, we are perfectly positioned to add real tangible value to our partners,” added McCarthy.
