Exertis Micro-P has restructured its pro-AV management team. New additions include Tracy Barrow as an AV business development manager. Barrow will manage and grow the AV sales potential in named accounts in both the North and South. She says: “I will be providing a full portfolio of products for all of the IT accounts to ensure they choose the right brand and product for each installation. I am very much looking forward to this new challenge. I am extremely thrilled to be working with the growing AV team at Exertis Micro-P and its visual technology brands. I will be reporting to Ian Aitken head of AV sales at Exertis Micro-P.”

Barrow’s career in the AV channel ranges from sales account manager to channel manager at Optoma, giving her a good background in the channel and distribution, and an established network of IT and AV customers. Also new at Exertis Micro-P as a BDM is Jerome Slater, who plans to develop robust partnerships with professional AV integrators on a national basis. Slater’s role involves the engagement of customers, vendors and internal colleagues alike, leveraging an extensive support network in order to provide appropriate and competitive solutions. Slater’s AV career began at Promethean World, where he developed from a sales account management role into external channel partner management. He joined Exertis Micro-P as an AV product specialist, and after six months was promoted to AV sales manager, managing a team of 8 internal account managers.

Slater commented: “I am very pleased to be an intrinsic part of Exertis Micro-P’s pro-AV division, and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead. I am confident that we can continue to grow our footprint in the pro-AV channel and capture the hearts and minds of our key partners.” Exertis Micro-P’s General Manager for the Visual Division, Ian Aitken, has also taken on further responsibilities heading up the Visual Sales Channel, with direct responsibility for the AV BDMs and the Technical AV and Solutions Team. This move will integrate and unify the Visual and Solutions Team from initial strategic planning and agreements through to sales execution – driving complete unity and end-to-end consistency for the AV offering. This continued expansion shows Exertis Micro-P’s enduring dedication to the channel. Two years ago, the Visual Solutions Team consisted of just two heads, now it is a team of 16 commercial and sales team specialists. Exertis Micro-P has seen balanced growth across its entire AV portfolio this year and this continuing investment in the team will ensure this excellent growth continues.
