Independent technology consultancy Hewshott has announced the relocation of its UK operations to a new office at Earls Colne Business Park in Essex, effective 28 April 2025. The move supports the company’s continued development and aims to provide a workspace aligned with its current working practices.
The new office has been selected and designed to accommodate a range of workstyles, with spaces intended to support both individual tasks and team collaboration. Features include natural light, acoustic considerations, and a variety of formal and informal work areas, including meeting rooms, breakout spaces, and quiet zones.
Earls Colne Business Park is situated in landscaped surroundings and offers a low-density environment with access to outdoor green space. On-site amenities include a café, gym, golf course, driving range, and spa. The location also provides access to regional transport links.
“We’re not just moving into a new building, we’re reinforcing our long-term belief in creating an environment where people can do their best work,” said Daniel Lee, Managing Director of Hewshott UK. “Our teams are highly mobile and work across a wide range of projects, so the space had to be somewhere people want to be, not somewhere they have to be.”
Hewshott has adopted flexible working practices, including the removal of fixed office attendance requirements. Staff are encouraged to choose the work setting that best suits their tasks for the day. These arrangements are intended to support employee wellbeing and work-life balance, while also contributing to the company’s environmental goals.
Sustainability initiatives at the new office include electric vehicle charging stations, enhanced recycling processes, and the introduction of solid soap dispensers to reduce plastic waste. “Changes such as the switch to solid soap dispensers may be seen as minor,” Lee noted, “but we are reviewing how we operate and making improvements wherever possible.”
The relocation forms part of Hewshott’s ongoing investment in its UK presence. From its new base in Essex, the company will continue to deliver professional services in AV, IT, acoustics, theatre consultancy, and smart building integration.
