Novelty attracts a premium in digital signage, with leading brands frequently among those willing to explore the potential of innovative new technologies. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the comparatively short history of HYPERVSN. Formed in 2011, HYPERVSN claims to be the developer of the world’s first integrated 3D holographic display system and recently invited AV News to visit its new showroom, in central London to experience its range of products.

HYPERVSN technology is based on a four-ray rotor that can display 3D content at up to 670 RPM, producing visuals and videos that appear to be floating in mid-air and are perceived by viewers as hi-resolution holograms, without the need for wearables. The result is a highly disruptive, scalable and cost-effective solution that drives brand and customer engagement with multiple applications ranging from events and conferences, bars and restaurants, to corporate offices and retail stores, to name a few.
HYPERVSN has developed its base technology into a number of different products that serve a number of applications. Amongst these, perhaps one of the most easily deployed is the HYPERVSN Holographic Human – a welcoming 3D hologram that can act as a reception ‘greeter’ or receptionist in place of a human counterpart. For example, American University of Kuwait set out to generate leads for new admissions for their upcoming academic year without any human intervention in a public space, bearing in mind the restrictions imposed during the pandemic. HYPERVSN Holographic Human was the perfect solution, with a life-size human displayed in 3D.
The 3D content created covered key topics and exceeded expectations, from the University’s mascot to credentials and admission information. A prime location was selected within the Avenues Mall, Kuwait’s largest mall with an average footfall of over 600,000 per week (post pandemic estimates). A QR code-enabled installation was able to provide real time analytics and wow the audience as the first Human Hologram in Kuwait. The campaign exceeded expectations with 3% CTR per day and engagement recorded at over 40%.
Powered by a proprietary CMS software, users can control the device remotely and create, upload and manage content. This also includes HYPERVSN 3D Studio, which allows users to easily convert 2D images into eye-catching 3D visuals – and requires no design skills. Kiryl Chykeyuk, HYPERVSN Co-Founder, comments:
“The HYPERVSN system presents new disruptive opportunities to capture and convert audiences by engaging in meaningful conversation with all customer demographics. It is definitely a unique solution for brands wishing to reach high brand exposure and effectively set themselves apart from competitors”
In addition to the HYPERVSN Holographic Human customers can choose to rent or buy the HYPERVSN Solo or the HYPERVSN Wall. HYPERVSN Solo units can be installed individually, or multiple units can be synchronised to create one larger image for an even more powerful HYPERVSN Wall installation. Popular at trade shows, exhibitions and product launches, anywhere in fact, where customers are seeking out new ways to capture and convert audiences with unique digital signage solutions. Stuart Holmes, Director at PSCo, commented:
“We see huge potential for HYPERVSN products, especially from our corporate, retail and rental customers, who are keen to re-engage their audiences now that lockdown restrictions have been lifted. The investment by HYPERVSN in its UK team, new office and product line-up gives us great confidence and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this highly innovative display solution”. “The HYPERVSN Holographic Human provided by All ‘n All was one of our most successful projects this year. Not only did this innovative tool attract many new students, but we were also able to use the analytic features to measure conversion.”

Backed by the likes of Sir Richard Branson, the company as produced a fully integrated system of control, support & 3D creation – producing unparalleled digital excellence. HYPERVSN is all about emotion. People are mesmerized when they experience it. Founder Kiryl Chykeyu said “We strive to deliver extraordinary experiences through stunning and innovative visual technologies. In our lives everything we do is based on our visual perception. We make decisions based on how we see things. We live and experience life with our eyes. Despite the fact that we live in a truly 3D world, until now we have been viewing digital information and visuals in just 2D. At HYPERVSN we have created a fundamentally new system, a better system, to see 3D in-the-air visuals without the need for any wearable equipment.”
Co-founder Art Stavenka explains: “HYPERVSN was born by minds that wanted to create something big. Some revolutionized online shopping, some – turned the traditional hotel industry upside down, and we wanted to change the way people see things. And in 2012, backing it up with a scientific and business research, and later on with support from Sir Richard Branson, we’ve started the company that brought a new holographic technology to the mass market. We came a long way of technology enhancement and research from an idea to the first integrated holographic system we offer now. Today it is safe to say HYPERVSN is the only product there offering users full control of creating, displaying and analysing 3D images perceived as holographic visuals.”
