Latest generation of E Series ultra-high definition large format displays range in sizes from 32” to 65” to suit any indoor information application

NEC Display Solutions Europe today unveiled the latest generation of its E Series entry-level UHD professional display. Designed for users who want simplicity and good performance at the most competitive price point, the new E Series line-up is perfect for a wide range of applications, from meeting rooms to retail, leisure and hospitality environments.

The new series features an integrated MediaPlayer for native UHD content playback, a 10W USB interface to power external devices such as Raspberry Pi, and a playback scheduler that enables users to programme auto-play content.

As with previous generations, the new E Series comes in 32” FHD, and 43“, 50’’, 55”, as well as 65’’ in UHD resolution, making it easy to find the right device for each application. Meanwhile, each device can be monitored and controlled using NEC’s NaViSet Administrator 2 software tool, ensuring that users can identify and correct any issues before they become noticeable to the audience.

With a modern design, high-definition brilliance and multiple input source options, the plug-and-play E Series displays are perfectly-suited for digital signage applications in smaller retail outlets, hospitals, small museums and other public places, as well as for meeting and conferencing in small and medium-sized businesses.

“Digital is rapidly becoming the default format for sharing information, including advertising, way-finding and visitor information, but professional-grade displays have traditionally been outside the budget of smaller organisations,” said Erik Elbert, Product Manager for Large Format Displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “Our E Series large format displays have been specifically engineered to combat this ‘digital divide’, by bringing high-performance displays – including integrated media playback functionality – within every organisation’s reach.”

The new NEC E Series large format displays will be on show at ISE 2019 in Amsterdam, and then to become available from March 2019 onwards.
