Peerless AV’s Sales and Operations Director, Keith Dutch, was invited to captain an MCC side at Lord’s Cricket Ground versus Nepal on Tuesday 19th July 2016. A former first-class cricketer, Dutch played eight seasons at Middlesex Country Cricket Club and four at Somerset as an all-rounder.
The match against Nepal was well attended with a crowd of over 5,000 people watching live inside Lord’s, and was televised on Lord’s YouTube channel. This attracted over 32,000 hits and some 10,000 people also watching the game Live.
The game was organised to celebrate 200 years of International Trade between the UK and Nepal, and was the first time the Nepalese team had ever played at Lord’s. An exciting game culminated in a win for Nepal with Dutch taking two key wickets and an outstanding century by George Adair for MCC.
