PSCo, a specialist trade-only rental display supplier, today announced a substantial initial investment in the creative LED product offering from Aluvision, an acclaimed international supplier of high-quality sustainable modular solutions for events and exhibitions.

The partnership will see PSCo, which is part of the Midwich Group, expand its trade rental offering to the live events industry, with a specific focus on supporting sustainability in the expo/exhibitions sector and further supporting existing partners already working with Aluvision products in the UK.

    One tile, endless solutions

PSCo has invested in the Hi-LED 55 LED display, Aluvision’s award-winning range of creative LED tiles. Available in 2.8mm pixel pitch and various chassis options, Hi-LED 55 is one of the world’s most versatile LED products that can be transformed into floor, curved or cube configurations. The LED tiles can be used on their own or incorporated into the unique Aluvision modular frame system, a popular solution with stand builders for exhibitions thanks to the reusability and cost-saving benefits and also popular for creative solutions in corporate and experiential applications.

Aluvision selected Absen (PSCo’s longest-standing LED partner) to co-develop and manufacture the Hi-LED range thanks to Absen’s pedigree and track record of producing high-performance and reliable products for the rental industry. Thanks to this, Aluvision users can benefit from the same quality and durability that they have come to expect from Absen. The Hi-LED 55 range will offer tremendous benefit to PSCo’s existing users of the Absen Polaris range where creative products can complement existing conventional displays in the same production.

    Sustainability at the core

Sustainability forms a key focus and selling point for Aluvision and their modular frame systems as they reduce waste and footprint versus traditional custom-built timber frame or printed stands at exhibitions and events, where 90%+ of the materials are single-use and discarded to landfill after a show.

One of the growing benefits of LED displays are their green credentials. LED technologies already score highly with the latest ISO and related sustainability certifications due to lower power consumption, longer life span, serviceability and ability to re-use. Coupled with a reusable modular frame mount system this eliminates the need for physical print, fabric, material and other waste products for events and productions.

The aluminium frame itself is also recyclable and 75% of the frames are made of already recycled material. Additionally, lightweight LED panels and frame systems mean less transport cost and ultimately less negative environmental impact that customers are generating delivering events.

    Stuart Holmes, Director, PSCo, comments:

“PSCo are delighted to partner with Aluvision and enhance our LED portfolio with the highly creative Hi-LED 55 range to give our customers an even greater choice and price-performance opportunity. We are confident the live events sector will come back stronger, and our investment today shows PSCo’s commitment towards a bright future.

Achieving this growth whilst creating a positive impact on the environment and reducing any negative impact we have on it is equally important. That is why we were very impressed by Aluvision’s sustainability charter credentials, another key reason for PSCo investing in them.”

Marilyn Mahieu, International Sales Manager, Aluvision, comments:

“We identified PSCo as a leader in display rental technologies with a specific focus on high-resolution LED for events & exhibitions – the Hi-LED range fits perfectly in their rental portfolio. With extensive knowledge, expertise and facilities including the impressive experience centre at Innovation House, PSCo can fully support the Hi-LED range in the UK. We are excited to welcome PSCo to the Aluvision family!”
