Saville Audio Visual has announced the appointment of Jason Huggins as education sales consultant based at the company’s NW regional office in Manchester. Hugins joins the company from an IT background, having specialised in the education sector for the past six years.
Huggins has a good understanding of all types of IT/AV products, having previously held product manager roles in digital signage, videoconferencing and interactive technologies. He was also responsible for the design, sale and commissioning of one of the largest educational digital signage installations in Europe, incorporating over 100 screens and video walls.
He said: “I’m delighted to be helping Saville develop their market share, particularly with interactive classroom systems and the expanding range of exclusive, bespoke AV furniture that the company is developing for primary schools and higher education.”
Saville’s regional manager Colin Etchells added: “Jason brings a wealth of technical knowledge on classroom challenges and solutions, plus experience of dealing with local education authorities and purchasing consortia. His experience further strengthens our education team and our focus on building long term relationships with schools, colleges and universities.”
