Steljes has appointed Tony Mardell as product manager for SMART Room System for Microsoft Lync. Mardell has over thirty years’ experience in the IT industry working with several blue chip companies in key management roles as well as establishing his own IT consultancy for over 11 years. Prior to joining Steljes, Mardell worked at Nokia as senior collaboration manager and BT Basilica as a business manager.
Commenting on his appointment, Mardell said: “I am excited to be joining Steljes as it continues its drive into the corporate market with the SMART Room System for Microsoft Lync. My previous experience of working on collaboration projects and new product offerings with the channel at BT & Nokia will prove invaluable to this role.” This is the second appointment Steljes has made this year to support its growth strategy for the recently launched SMART Room System, having boosted the sales team with appointment of Paul Jackson as Business Development Manager – Microsoft Lync.
