Clear-Com has highlighted its support for worship teams through professional communication solutions, with the deployment of its EQUIP wireless system at Youth With A Mission – Korea Branch (YWAM Worship South Korea). YWAM Worship Korea is an international training and mission organisation that regularly hosts worship services and mission-focused gatherings. Like many Korean churches, YWAM relies on video content to share its mission and promote activities, and their production team needs clear, dependable communication to coordinate directors, camera operators, and lighting staff during both rehearsals and live services.

Clear-Com worked with its local Partner, Sama Sound, to demonstrate the EQUIP wireless intercom system at Sinyongsan Church. The system included one EQUIP base station, two transceivers, and five EQUIP dual-channel all-in-one headsets, which connected the technical director, three cameramen, and a lighting engineer. One transceiver was positioned near front-of-house and the second near the stage to ensure reliable coverage across the 30-metre hall, enabling seamless roaming between transceivers as team members moved throughout the space while maintaining stable full-duplex communication. EQUIP operates in the 5GHz band, providing interference-resistant coverage well suited to YWAM’s active production space.

The EQUIP system delivered low-latency, stable, and high-quality audio, enabling the production team to communicate clearly and respond to cues in real time. By providing hands-free communication, the system allowed the team to coordinate efficiently, maintain focus on tasks, and ensure a smooth worship experience for attendees. “Our filming environment is usually very noisy, but it was great to hear everything clearly without any disconnections” said Kim Ju Nam, a member of the Jesus Mission Media Team at YWAM. Edan Kwon, Product Manager at Sama Sound, added, “Many worship teams have never experienced a professional intercom system before and rely instead on office communication tools. When they experience the EQUIP system for the first time, the difference in audio quality and reliability is immediately clear. It’s a scalable, professional solution that fits well within the needs and budgets of worship production teams.”

The demonstration also reinforced the broader impact of Clear-Com solutions in worship environments. Brian Chow, Regional Sales Manager, North Asia at Clear-Com, noted, “Projects like YWAM Worship Korea underscore how Clear-Com solutions can make a meaningful impact in worship environments. By working closely with Partners like Sama Sound, we’re helping worship teams improve communication and streamline production workflows.” Through this collaboration, Clear-Com’s EQUIP wireless intercom system continues to provide worship teams with dependable, high-quality communication that enhances coordination and elevates live worship production.
