TVC Technology Solutions has completed a comprehensive audiovisual installation for Waterside Holiday Group at the Arena Sports Bar within its Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park. The project highlights how a carefully designed AV environment can transform leisure venues into immersive social spaces capable of supporting live sport, entertainment and evolving guest expectations.

Building on an established working relationship with the operator, TVC was tasked with delivering a cohesive, future-ready AV system providing impactful visuals and adaptable audio throughout the venue, while remaining simple for staff to control during day-to-day operations. Waterside Holiday Group operates a portfolio of premium holiday parks across the UK, combining accommodation, leisure and entertainment to create vibrant coastal destinations. Having engaged TVC on previous AV projects, the group enlisted the Bolton-based integrator to rejuvenate the Arena Sports Bar at Bowleaze Cove. “Having worked with Waterside before, we knew the client wanted a complete AV install that would transition Bowleaze from relaxed daytime dining to high-energy evening trade, showcasing major live sporting events,” said Andy Greaves, Sales Director at TVC Technology Solutions, “The vibe had to be modern, with AV flexibility for various themes in a multi-use venue and integrating cutting edge signage in a platform that was super-easy to control for venue staff.”

To create a strong visual experience across the Sports Bar, TVC installed a network of LG commercial displays throughout the venue. A carefully selected mix of screen sizes, ranging from 32 to a centrepiece 86-inch display, ensures clear sightlines from every position, with larger displays acting as focal points in key viewing areas while additional screens across the main bar and seating zones maintain visibility during major sporting events. Smaller displays within booth seating areas provide a more personal viewing experience for smaller groups.

Audio was treated as a central element of the design, with a full Audac loudspeaker system delivering balanced, immersive sound across the venue. Higher-output loudspeakers and subwoofer reinforcement were incorporated within the stage area to provide additional energy during live entertainment and peak trading periods, while distributed loudspeakers across the bar and dining areas ensure consistent coverage throughout the day. To manage this multi-zone environment, TVC implemented an Optimal Audio control system, giving staff intuitive control over audio levels and sources across the venue. This allows the Sports Bar to maintain relaxed background audio during quieter periods while creating a more energetic atmosphere around the bar and stage during live sports and evening entertainment.

At the core of the installation sits a WyreStorm AV-over-IP distribution platform, providing a flexible infrastructure for routing content to displays across the venue. Using WyreStorm’s NetworkHD app, staff can synchronise content across all screens for major sporting events or distribute different sources to different areas based on audience preferences. To further enhance engagement, a TVC’s own MySign digital signage platform was integrated into the wider AV system, enabling the venue to promote food and drink offers, advertise upcoming events and deliver branded messaging across dedicated displays. The result is a flexible and immersive AV environment that supports the full spectrum of activity within the Arena Sports Bar, from daytime hospitality through to high-energy sporting events and live entertainment. “This is another exciting TVC project for the Waterside Group,” added Andy. “Aside from our AV and extensive signage expertise in hospitality, it demonstrates how fully understanding the client’s needs and vision remains so important for AV integrators. Get a project right, exceed expectations and future business will follow. We are looking forward to the next exciting project with the waterside team.”
